Women face taboos that prevent them from accessing information to support them on how to navigate conversations about their health, and the healthcare systems to receive the care they need. Promoting better health practices and early detection of health problems are crucial.

On May 27th, 2024, in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, &FLUENCE teamed up with our partners Hologic and BrandedU to launch the Dutch Women Health Forum. This platform unites experts from healthcare, business, civil society, and government to inform, share insights and support individuals and societal partners on how we can improve women’s health and well-being in the Netherlands.

We were thrilled to arrange and  host Dutch Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport, Conny Helder, for a special interview during the forum. Sharing her personal health story with the audience, she  highlighted the crucial role of proactive efforts from government and organizations in improving healthcare pathways for practitioners and patients alike. Her powerful call to action urged increased collaboration across citizens and organizations to advance Dutch healthcare and gain a deeper understanding of women’s health.

Alongside this, we collaborated with our partners to organize three dynamic panels. These panels delved into key themes from Dutch data insights in Hologic’s Global Women’s Health Index, which offers a comprehensive look at women’s health topics across 143 countries and territories. Our diverse panelists, chosen for their expertise and unique perspectives, tackled key issues such as gender inequalities in healthcare, the economic impact of prioritizing women’s health, and the vital importance of access to information and innovation for women and healthcare professionals.

We look forward to co-organizing the 2025 Dutch Women Health Forum. Will we see you there?
